happy new year’s

Happy New Year’s (and a VERY belated Merry Christmas). We celebrated in the traditional way. A healthy serving of cabbage for wealth. Black-eyed peas cooked with the ham bone from Christmas dinner(which had been frozen of course) to keep us all healthy through the new year. Because we can’t eat black-eyed peas without cornbread, two different types were made. Tradition says you should eat pork on New Year’s too, though I’m not sure why.

So, with full bellies, it’s now time for a movie.

I hope that everyone in web-land has a prosperous New Year and enjoys life to the fullest.
