It’s been about a week since the worms were first spotted and removed. The next day, they were spotted again, plucked off again.
I had stumbled upon an awesome remedy in a book from my grandmother I thought may work. Half cup of flour mixed with a half cup of salt sprinkled around the cabbage.
The result the following day? A not so awesome spot for FIRE ANTS, plus the worms were still here. I was sceptical that it would work, but thought it would make a cool experiment. It was time for drastic measures. After removing the worms for what felt like the hundredth time, the cabbage got a good spray with bug killer. I’m not a fan of it, I can’t have a snack in the garden while working.
I’ll trade the snack for the worms anytime. Maybe now the cabbage will get big enough to eat.
